As soon as I stepped foot in Tokyo in 2008, I knew I had caught the travelling bug. I decided I didn't just want to travel I wanted to experience the world! The different cultures, the people, the sites and most importantly (to me) the food!

Recently I have started to develop an interest in photography and hope to improve my skills while doing what I love most.

Welcome to my journey........

Making the most of my vacation

We got back from Busan just before Dinner on Wednesday. I decided to be a lazy bum on the Thursday as I needed a well deserved rest. I also had to let people (my mum) know I was alive....

On Friday, I met Lea. It had been such a long time since I had seen her so it was great to catch up and I lost track of time. I do like to talk..... Sorry Lea!!!!

Saturday, I met Eunyoung. We were going to go Suwon but the weather said it was going to be bad so we decided to stay closer to home and visit the national museum. OMG!! It was blooming crazy!!! Kids everywhere and it was my vacation away from them. I finally know how my mum feels on summer vacation but at least she gets six weeks!

We ended up drinking beer and eating kimbap by the Han river as it ended up being a great day!

That night I met with some of the girls for drinks in Hongdae. We first drank in the park (yay! cheap!!!). We ended up seeing Martina from Eatmykimchi.com ^^ She is as nice in real life! And as cute!!!!!!! ^^

The clubs were so so and I got really drunk on three drinks!!!! So strange. Even 3 hours later I was still drunk... :S

I will write a different post for Sunday as I have some pretty pictures ^^

Deajeon and Busan

I came back from China on Sunday and arrived back at my apartment at 9.30pm! I had to put my clothes on fast wash and pray that they dried quickly as I was on my second vacation the next day.

Monday morning was a mess. I threw everything in my suitcase even though some of it was still damp. It was lucky me and my friend left early as she read the tickets wrong and the train was leaving at 9.30am not 10am (it was 9.25am when we got our tickets...).

We first went to Daejeon to pick up Ted (we all have given ourselves secret names out of 'How I met your mother' based on our personality) . Sadly, I didn't get to see much as my friend had already been there but I was so shattered from China I didn't care. We all went to a cafe for a few hours (with me yawning all day).

Daejeon

Later in the evening we went to Busan. It was midnight by the time we got to our hotel that we went straight to bed.

The next morning the weather was so so. It was hot but cloudy. We spent most of our day and night on the beach. It was kinder ruined by this girl being bossy.

We didn't look around as none of us had energy for some reason... And I realised Ted was a young adjusshi! haha

I really like Busan and I will probably go back one day soon to go siteseeing ^^

Suzhou and Zhouzhuang water town

I went to Suzhou and Zhouzhuang water town today.  There really isn’t much to write…..

In Suzhou we went to a Chinese private garden which is supposed to be beautiful etc. But all I could think was that I wanted to leave. It was so busy and far too small for the amount of people there.

We then went to view the city gate which is only 25 years old as it got rebuilt n 1986 (awesome year I say for people being born…).

We had lunch which was a Chinese/western buffet. Some Americans came in and became excited at the sight of Western food. Seriously, why do people come all the way to another country just to eat food they can eat any time at home?????

We were then taken to a silk factory where they showed us around before trying to sell us stuff. The products weren’t very good quality so I didn’t bother.

We finally went to Zhouzhuang. There is a story of how this place became so famous but I’m too lazy to write it so you can just google it.

Arghhhh ready to go home now…….

Just had a whole body and foot massage for 2 hours ^^ My body is so relaxed……zzzzzzzzz

Sick

God I feel rough. I feel like I spent the night drinking until 4pm. My head is full of cold and I feel dizzyL. And if that wasn’t bad enough, this morning I woke up to this…..

Hopefully it will go by tomorrow as my tour has already been delayed one day because of the rain.  I am kind of ready to go home so I’m glad I didn’t book 2 weeks. Though, it has been nice not to have to wear earplugs in order to have a peaceful night’s sleep.

Update: Just popped out to take night pictures of Shanghai. I am so homesick! Hate everyone!!!! Going back to bed…….
