As soon as I stepped foot in Tokyo in 2008, I knew I had caught the travelling bug. I decided I didn't just want to travel I wanted to experience the world! The different cultures, the people, the sites and most importantly (to me) the food!

Recently I have started to develop an interest in photography and hope to improve my skills while doing what I love most.

Welcome to my journey........

Dog Cafe Hongdae

Dog Cafe Hongdae
As soon as you walk in the cafe, the dogs start barking and the guy shouts at you to sit down. He is quite aggressive actually. The owner of the dog cage in Myeong-dong seemed much nicer. After the dogs stop barking we were walked over to a table and ordered some drinks.

I preferred the dogs here to Myeong-dong. In Myeong-dong, they were all big dogs so they just chased each other and got bored of humans easy. In the Hongdae branch the dogs want cuddles and there is a mixture of sizes and breeds.

There was a dog parlour so there were dogs waiting for their owners who want attention. We had one big white husky who kept coming under our table. He was so cute! Some middle school girls annoyed me as they forced this husky on to their table even though he was in distress. But they wanted a picture of course.........

Aww lonely dog watching us.

The location of this cafe in exit 9 of Hongik station. Go down the side street and turn on your first left. Keep walking for 5-10 minutes. It is on your right about 3 floors up. Just look out for the sign.
