New Camera

I just got my self a new camera(Nikon D5100) as I had a tough month (what with dating a cheating psycho liar and all that), so I thought I deserved it haha. I have wanted one for years and my friend Paul, who got one a few months ago, has been showing me his sassy pictures so I finally got one! 
It's sooo cool but I am so scared of damaging it. I was the same with my ipod last year but now just throw that around my room. The manual is all in Korean so I ordered a manual off amazon.co.uk and my mum will bring it when she comes! I can't wait! I travel a lot so I will get my money's worth.

In two weeks my mum arrives, so I will be taking hundreds of photos of her (sometimes I think she is Korean). Currently, I am doing summer camp, which is fun as my theme is the olympics! I am also doing cooking club after for the kids! ^^

I will update my next post after Jeju and Busan at the end of  August! ^^

Update ^^

This month has been one of the worse in a while. My work has become a lot stricter regarding holidays etc. And they took a vacation day off me, as I left early for middle school one day (but they didn't warn me this would happen and this is the first year it has happened). So that started the month off bad and then me and my boyfriend broke up. I realise now I am well rid as he was really quite selfish, but at the time I was upset to say the least.

 Luckly, my friends have been wonderful and it made me how lucky I am over here, and how lucky I am to have met them. My co-teacher has been great! Listening to my rants etc. I am so happy I met her this year and I believe we will contuine being friends even after I leave here. Sarah and Paul have looked after me with delicious food and wine (and drag queen movies) haha. I also hope to say in contact with them after Korea, though Paul always points out people lose contact after a while haha.

Works started getting better and I had made a big decision by this point. The reason I felt so low is because I am not happy in Korea anymore. In fact it is making me become bitter and I hate bitter people (like this girl I knew last year). My friends are great and the money is great, but I came here to travel and it ended up just being like home after a year but without my family. I want to be closer to my family, so next year I want to go to Spain. After deciding this, I started to feel more and more happy. It felt like a burden was lifted and I could finally breath.

Sadly, last week I was informed a family member died and that confirmed my reasons in my head for not re-signing next year. I can't go to the funeral as I can't get the time off plus it would cost 700-800pounds which is money I don't have. I want to be closer to the UK, so I can go home for a weekend if needed.

So I don't know if Spain will work out as there are no jobs in Europe now but if you don't try, you will never know. Plus, the worse that can happen is I spent 2 months in Spain and then go home. Like a long holiday haha.

I am going to enjoy my last 7 months in Korea as best I can!! I also better start learning Spanish :P

Dog cafe part 3!!

I went to the dog cafe again with my friend! Sadly, one of the girl dogs was on heat so she was a being a hussy and all the male dogs were going crazy! At least my white husky came to say hello! ^^

I found it was easier going from exit 8 in Hongdae and taking the first right corner. At the intersection turn left and you will see a yellow sign on the second floor.
